Notes biographiques
Nanette Neuwahl est professeure titulaire au Centre de recherche en droit public de l'Université de Montréal et, depuis 2008, titulaire de la Chaire Jean Monnet en Droit de l'Union européenne de l'Université de Montréal. Elle est spécialisée en droit de l'Union européenne, son droit constitutionnel et ses relations extérieures en particulier. Ses recherches portent notamment sur l'interaction et la division des compétences entre l'Union européenne et ses États membres, la position de l'Union européenne sur la scène internationale, l'internormativité et l'accès à la justice. Elle co-dirige la revue European Foreign Affairs Review (Kluwer Law International). Ses travaux les plus récents portent sur les droits et obligations internationaux de l'Union européenne et les États membres, les relations transatlantiques, l'élargissement de l'Union européenne, les rapports commerciaux avec la Chine, le droit constitutionnel de l'Union et les droits de l'homme, et les rapports entre juridictions internationales et constitutionnelles. Nanette Neuwahl, qui est de nationalité néerlandaise, détient un doctorat de l'Institut universitaire européen de Florence et un baccalauréat et une maîtrise de l'Université de Leiden.
